Oh, let it rise

Oh, let it rise

Somebody sing 'Let it Rise'!

Let it rise!
Come on everybody

Let the glory of the Lord rise among us

Let the praises of our King rise among us
Let it rise!

Sing it again, let the glory!

Let the glory of the Lord rise among us

Somebody open up your mouth and cry
Say let it rise

”Trading My Sorrows”

I’m trading my sorrow,

I’m trading my shame,

I’m laying it down for the joy of the Lord,

I’m trading my sickness, I’m trading my pain,

I’m laying it down for the joy of the Lord,

Yes Lord, yes Lord, yes yes Lord,

Yes Lord, yes Lord, Yes yes Lord,

Yes Lord, yes Lord, yes yes, Lord, Amen.

I’m pressed but not crushed, persecuted, not abandoned,

Struck down but not destroyed,

I’m blessed beyond the curse for His promise will endure,

And his joy’s gonna be my strength,

Though the sorrow may last for the night,

His joy comes with the morn

PASTORAL PRAYER

SERMON TEXT | ECCLESIASTES 11:1-6 (ESV)

Cast Your Bread upon the Waters

11 Cast your bread upon the waters,
for you will find it after many days.
Give a portion to seven, or even to eight,
for you know not what disaster may happen on earth.
If the clouds are full of rain,
they empty themselves on the earth,
and if a tree falls to the south or to the north,
in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.
He who observes the wind will not sow,
and he who regards the clouds will not reap.

As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.

In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.
