For God so loved The world that

He gave us

His one and only Son to save us

At the foot of the cross

Jesus is waiting there

With open arms

See His open arms

The power of Hell

Forever defeated

Now it is well

“Promises”

God of Abraham,

God of covenant and of faithful promises

Time and time again

You have proven

You’ll do just what you said

Though the storms may come and the winds may blow

I’ll remain steadfast

And let my heart learn when you speak a word it will come to pass

Chorus

Great is your faithfulness to me

Great is your faithfulness to me

From the rising sun, to the setting same

I will praise your name

Great is your faithfulness to me

God from age to age, though the earth may pass away,

Your word remains the same

Your history can prove there’s nothing You can’t do,

You’re faithful and True

Though the storms may come and the winds may blow

I’ll remain steadfast

And let my heart learn when you speak a word it will come to pass

Great is your faithfulness to me

Great is your faithfulness to me

From the rising sun, to the setting same I will praise your name

Great is your faithfulness to me

I put my faith in Jesus

My anchor to the ground My hope and firm foundation

He’ll never let me down

CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER

SERMON TEXT | Psalm 126 ESV

Restore Our Fortunes, O Lord

A Song of Ascents.

126 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
    and our tongue with shouts of joy;
then they said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us;
    we are glad.

Restore our fortunes, O Lord,
    like streams in the Negeb!
Those who sow in tears
shall reap with shouts of joy!
He who goes out weeping,
    bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
    bringing his sheaves with him.

“O Come To The Alter”

Verse 1

Are you hurting and broken within

Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin

Jesus is calling

Have you come to the end of yourself

Do you thirst for a drink from the well

Jesus is calling

Chorus 1

O come to the altar

The Father's arms are open wide

Forgiveness was bought with

The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Verse 2

Leave behind your regrets and mistakes

Come today there's no reason to wait

Jesus is calling

Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy

From the ashes a new life is born

Jesus is calling

(Bridge)

Oh what a Savior Isn't he wonderful

Sing alleluia Christ is risen

Bow down before himFor he is Lord of all

Sing alleluia Christ is risen

Verse 3

Bear your cross as you wait for the crown

Tell the world of the treasure you've found

CONFESSION OF FAITH

We know God by two means: First, by the creation, preservation, and government of the universe, since that universe is before our eyes like a beautiful book in which all creatures, great and small, are as letters to make us ponder the invisible things of God: God’s eternal power and divinity, as the apostle Paul says in Romans 1:20. All these things are enough to convict humans and to leave them without excuse. Second, God makes himself known to us more clearly by his holy and divine Word, as much as we need in this life, for God’s glory and for our salvation. Belgic Confession, Art. 2

COMMUNION

“You Are My King (Amazing Love)”

I'm forgiven because You were forsaken

I'm accepted, You were condemned

And I'm alive and well, Your Spirit is within me

Because You died and rose again

Chorus

Amazing love, how can it be

That You, my King, should die for me?

Amazing love, I know it's true

And it's my joy to honor You

In all I do, to honor You

Bridge

You are my King

You are my King

Jesus, You are my King

You are my King

Amazing love, how can it be

That You, my King, should die for me?

Amazing love, I know it's true

It's my joy to honor You

In all I do, to honor You

In all I do, to honor You

In all I do, let me honor You
